Re: How to share my stuff?

Great stuff! I'm sending you a PM with contact information for Adam. We previously discussed giving everything a proper edit/layout pass after the material had been playtested a bit, so maybe this will give the Necromancy Project a little jolt.

Re: Cards for Issue #9 (Strange Eons)

Thanks for the kind words Craftzero, I'm glad you found what you were looking for. The website is currently being redesigned for better organisation. As the LF concept has expanded, it's become harder to find things with the original design, plus it's time for a facelift anyway.

Re: Co-host for the Daily Empire

Glad to hear your homebrew game is coming along well. It's understandable that you've fallen behind on the Daily Empire blog - hopefully someone else will pick up the torch.

Re: How many words per day?

Very true, I have to go think through various storylines once a day if I'm not writting just to keep any kind of momentum. Or like you say things can slip away. Then I do have a love / hate relationship with writting. :P Well, the writing process should be painful IMO. It's like the old adage excep...

Re: Dual 2nd / 3rd edition stuff

I'd say it depends. If the rules are compartmentalized within the article (e.g. NPC or monster stats in a gazetteer), then there's no reason not to dual stat. There might be scenario balance issues between editions (e.g. are 4 Beastmen equally dangerous in both?), but as long as the writers know bot...

Re: How many words per day?

I wouldn't include maps or project emails in the wordcount. Research should technically count as writing time, but paid freelance gigs don't pay extra for research time, so let's ignore it for these purposes too. Assume a full day of writing from a rough, researched outline, with just some occasiona...

Re: How many words per day?

1000 words for 8-10hrs seems reasonable, although there is often more than words in writting for WFRP ofc, pictures, profiles and maps can often take days in themselves. Not to mention research! Sifting through hundreds of pages of army books, novels and fan publications for relevant snippets can m...

How many words per day?

I'm curious to know how fast other people write. I consider 1,000 words to be a pretty successful 8-10 hour day of writing. I can write 1,500 words/day if I'm "in the zone". For anything above that, I'm compromising quality. If the subject matter is difficult, it's not unusual for me to sp...
